Huon Pine Wardrobe SOLDThis Colonial Australian Huon pine wardrobe was made in Tasmania in the late 19th century c.1890. It is in great original condition with the original bevelled glass mirror, brass handles and working lock. With a combination of hanging space, drawers and a cupboard, it is a very useful piece. Great use has been made of burr huon pine featuring it on the drawer fronts and pelmet. The pelment and cupboard door have also been finely hand carved. This is a great and useful piece of Australian Colonial furniture. |

Lady's Sewing Box SOLDThis is a great example of a Victorian lady's sewing box. It dates from c.1860 and is in completely original condition. It is very difficult to find boxes like this that haven't been restored. This one is in burr walnut and mahogany with fancy mother of pearl and paua shell inlay. Inside the interior is fully fitted and lined with paper and purple satin. The original working lock and key are present. |
